You can create custom notifications that notify various teams or categories of staff when a specific event occurs (or is due to occur).
It is possible to create multiple copies of any custom notification type. This allows the notification to be triggered several times for different values, such as 7 days and then 1 day before a milestone date.
Add a custom notification
To add a custom notification:
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- On the Notifications tab, make sure that the Custom Notifications section is selected.
- In the Notification Type drop-down list, select the custom notification you require.
- Click + Create New Custom Notification. The selected notification is added to the list of notifications displayed on the Custom Notifications screen.
- Scroll down to set up the details of the notification. For details of available settings, see the Data field reference section, below.
- Activate the notification by toggling the active switch to ON

- Save your changes.
Edit a custom notification
To edit a custom notification:
- On the toolbar click the Settings
icon.
- On the Notifications tab, make sure that the Custom Notifications section is selected.
- Scroll down to edit the details of the notification. For details of available settings, see the Data field reference section, below.
- Activate or de-activate the notification by toggling the active switch ON
or OFF
, as required.
- Save your changes.
