Clients are the entities (such as organisations or individuals) that you do jobs A job is the overall project that you or your organisation works on for a client. for, send quotes to, and invoice.
You can add clients to WorkflowMax by BlueRock as you create jobs, quotes or estimates, or you can use the Client Manager to create clients from scratch and work with them.
If you want to keep track of how a client came to hear of your business you can record their referral source.
Before you begin
Before you create a new client, you should consider creating:
- at least one client type A client type is a named set of payment terms, used to ensure consistency across your client base. For example, you might set up two client types: Premium, with a markup rate of 30% and payment terms of by 20th of next month, and Standard, with a markup rate of 40% and payment terms of within 7 days. When you add a new client, you can then allocate Premium or Standard payment terms, as required.
